The Smashed Olive

Went to the Smashed Olive for the first time for a quick bite on a Wednesday afternoon. Nice outdoor seating, but was grateful to be eating inside on that super hot day! Interior is well designed and very classy. l ordered a chicken sandwich, which was excellent and a generous portion for myself. The bread it was on tasted homemade! My daughter loved her chicken meal as well. I also ordered a glass of the house red wine, which was very good. The waitress, Jess, and the hostess, Sarah, were so incredibly kind and very attentive! They couldn't have been sweeter to my little girl. We loved them! Will absolutely be back again not only for the excellent food but for the superb service.

The service AND food were amazing! I wish I would have taken photos of every dish at the table, but it was so good we just began eating. I can attest the Beef Wellington app was amazing, we shared that. Our table had the Smashes Burger with garlic Parmesan fries, Pork Belly and Watermelon salad, and Margherita Pizza as entrees. As it was our first time there, we all tasted each other’s entrees... equally delicious! For dessert cappuccino, homemade brownie and a brownie with peanut butter (that was dug into right before I took the photo, was even prettier when it arrived at the table). Amazing but huge desserts. You may want to share, or bring some home to reminisce your delicious dinner the night before. ***The plates are huge, so the portion size is deceiving. We will be going back!

My son and I absolutely loved the food at this restaurant. We had the grilled octopus over Arugula for our appetizer, which was so tasty and delicious. I had short rib ragu over gnocchi that was so comforting and delicious. The Tuscan Chicken was tender and tasteful. The lemon leche was perfection and the cheesecake was great. Our server Sam was awesome! I was hesitant for going on Mothers Day since I knew it would be busy, but everything was excellent. We loved the olive tapenade in the beginning. Will definitely be back to enjoy. Also, enhoyed the ambiance.

My husband and I dine here often. We enjoy everything about this place. Our most recent experience was New Years Eve. They were super busy as usual, but everything went like clockwork. Our server Hailey was amazing. She didn’t miss a beat.

This is my new favorite place. Stopped in for a quick bite for lunch and had a super professional Burger. It was super juicy and had bacon on it. The garlic Parmesan fries that came with it were so awesome. They were crispy and flavorful. I would like to go back for dinner and try some entrees and other items as they all looked and sounded amazing. It’s super cozy inside and well kept.

Wow. We were traveling on a long road trip and just stopped in because the name grabbed us. The food was amazing. The atmosphere was lovely. And the service was outstanding. Freedom Rose was the single best server we have ever had!!! Eat there now!

Decided to try a local spot nearby to where a friend of mine lives. It did not disappoint. We were so lucky to grab a table outside while the weather was quite enjoyable. Our server, Philippe was wonderful and took excellent care of us. We started off with a few refreshing drinks - Margarita Mocktail, and Sucken Silo Peer Pressure. We then decided to try a few starters which were each delicious in their own way...the whipped Ricotta was my personal favorite. Whipped Ricotta: whipped homemade Ricotta topped with Truffle oil, hot honey, red chili peppers paired w/ Toasted bread Octopus: Grilled Spanish octopus over arugula w/ Lemon caper vinaigrette. Smashed Olive Tapenade: finely Chopped olives, capers, anchovies and olive oil Our main course selections were so good as well...I had the goat cheese/Mushroom Gnocchi, which was amazing. Chicken Apple Brie Sammy: grilled chicken, crisp green apples. Melted Brie Cheese, homemade seasonal jam, arugula, side of crispy sweet potatoe fries Goat Cheese & Mushroom Gnocchi: homemade Ricotta gnocchi in a portobello Mushroom cream sauce, Roasted red peppers, topped w/ goat cheese We finished our meal with a little something sweet....peanut butter and chocolate...always a solid combination. Peanut Butter Chocolate Explosion Cake I'd definitely come back to try the other offerings and highly recommend The Smashed Olive!

Excellent food, great service at the bar! Blue Cheese on ANY item is the best, loaded with REAL blue cheese. You like Bleu cheese? Yeah, I know how it's spelled... Come here!
